This Book Review Has a Horrible Title

By Sarah A.
When U.S Marine Logan Thibault finds a photograph of a beautiful young woman half buried in the sand, the first thing he thinks is to just toss it since he doesn't know who it is. Instead he keeps the picture to see if anyone will claim it. When nobody claims the picture he decides to keep the picture instead. Logan finds himself always carrying the photo everywhere he goes. When he's with his buddies or when he is out in combat. Logan realizes that ever since he has been carrying this photo he has had sudden luck. Winning games of pokers with his friends, and even surviving a deadly strike that killed two of his best buddies. Logan believed that this was no coincidence, and that the girl must have been his good luck charm.

When Logan returns home he cannot stop thinking about the woman in the photo. He wants to find the woman who he believes has kept him alive. He believes that it was his destiny to find that picture, and to chase after that woman when he returned home. He sets out on a journey across country to find her. He is in North Carolina when he finally finds the beautiful woman in the photo. Logan doesn't know how to go about telling her that he has had her photo for a while and that she was his good luck charm. Elizabeth was a divorced mother with a young son.
The story continues with them falling in love and then things falling apart when Logan tells her the story about how he had found her picture buried in the sand, and how she was his good luck charm. She realizes that that was the picture she had given to her brother who had died in combat. At first it really upsets her but then she realizes that it was fate for him to find that picture and for them to fall in love.
