When a Book Becomes Reality

By: Chris G.

One day, Aidan and Sarah Cooper discover a mysterious coded document in an antique English desk their father bought at an auction. The documents are referring to old stories Sarah has read, the Starcatchers series, the origin of Peter Pan. They unravel the mystery, it gets deeper as they read on. However soon, things get dangerous. They discover that they are actually a part of the stories, that they are real. Aidan and Sarah go on a journey to escape from Ombra, a being that can take the shape of anything. Will they be able to solve the mystery between stories and reality? Find out in The Bridge to Neverland by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson.

The Bridge to Neverland was a good read, and I found it intriguing how the authors mixed together fantasy with a real world setting. I like how the Starcatchers series continues into a brand new setting, one that will completely take you by surprise. I would recommend this book to people who are older than 12, however the book is written so that someone younger could understand it too. If you enjoy a fantasy with a bit of mystery as well, this is the book for you. I really liked the Starcatchers series by these authors, because the story line is entertaining and it makes you want to come back and read more. When you finish this book, you'll want to read more books like it!

The Bridge to Neverland is a good read if you find yourself looking for something interesting. This book is sort of a continuation off of the Starcatchers series by the authors. If you have read those, I would absolutely check this book out, and if not, check it out anyway, the story makes it easy to pick up what is going on. Read The Bridge to Neverland by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson.
