Go Ask Alice is a book about the sex and drug world of the 1960's. On the cover of the book, the author is Anonymous, but is in fact written by Beatrice Sparks who has done many more works of teen diaries. It is told from the point of view of Alice, who keeps a diary of all of her adventures through growing up in a dangerous time.

This book drew me in very quickly. I took Alice to heart and she became more than just a character. She'd have moments of success and times of dropping off the deep end to hit rock bottom. The ending was clear and easy to understand and the book's shortness led to being a quick read of sad emotions. Multiple times I wanted to yell at Alice, "No dont do that!".
I would recommend this book especially to teens because it is a lot about her journey into adulthood which teens can relate to. This book is known very much, so it is available all over the internet and in book stores, like Barnes and Nobles.
