Book left me "Speechless"

by Destiny L.

Chelsea has taken a vow in silence to make sure that she doesn't hurt anyone else. My favorite quote from the book is "You can be surrounded by people and still be lonely. You can be the most popular person in school, envied by every girl and wanted by every boy, and still feel completely worthless. The world can be laid at your feet and you can still not know what you want from it."

This ain't gonna cut it

By Destiny A

"My sister's keeper" by Jodi picoult It states that no one in his right mind starts a war unless they are absolutely clear on two things: what he wants to achieve, and how he plans to achieve it. This narrator recalls the time she was three years old and attempted to kill her sister. Her father stopped her and implied she pretend the incident never happened. They confess that as she grew older she didn't seem to exist except in relation to her sister. She thought of many different ways she could kill her, but she didn't do anything after all, because her sister did it on her own.

We Were One

By: Jake McDevitt
"We Were One" by Patrick K.O'Donnell was an amazing book. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to be in the military or is curious about it. This book really shows what it's really like to be a Marine or being away from your family at war. It has the perfect balance of real stories or facts and information about serving in the Marines. The stories in this book are very detailed and exciting and make you feel like you are apart of all the action.

TBH

By: Yonalys G.

The Long Night of Leo and Bree by Ellen Wittlinger is no more than a book to pass time. On the anniversary of his sister's death, Leo decides to step out and get fresh air; which is much needed in a household like his. Coincidentally around the same time, Bree chooses to get out of her house for some alone time, something she didn't get much of, little did she know she was not going to be getting any that night either. Two entirely different people from opposite backgrounds meet, sort of. Was it for the best? I'm still not entirely sure myself.

how it's done(or not)

By Kalea H.

Christine Kole Maclearn an author with an unusual taste in writing books, that could possibly happen in real life, takes how it's done to the next level. Categorizing this novel in a romance, but not so much a Romeo and Juliet romance is an interesting book to behold. To be more specific in what sort of romance, look at a teenangers everyday love life, it fits all snuggly into it. That being said, it's sort of obvious what happens, except the main character's best friend is an absolute hot mess, who breaks some rules. Remember kids be a better friend than the characters in this book, and hopefully none of this will ever happen to you.

Hit Counts will leave you on the edge of your seat!

Hannah Jayne, author of the novel Truly, Madly, Deadly has an outstandingly clever imagination which is clearly shown throughout the course of this book. She has written other literary pieces such as, The Underworld Detection Agency Chronicles, See Jane Run, The Dare, and The Escape. Based on the numerous amount of books she has pieced together, she is viewed by many, including myself, as a highly successful female author.
