A cross between the real world and the world only some people know about. Little Brother X is a book that tells the real truth of the government, and how only some people have ever heard of the terrible secrets of the way they act.Cory was a coder in his youth and most of the code that he talks about can work. Cory Doctorow is an author that takes you in th the world of the unknown to the normal human. He keeps you in the book as well say teaching you about the real world.

The main character w1n5t0n or Marcus  is a bad boy at his high school. Marcus looks like the average geeky teen to all of the adults in the story. He has a lot of energy and he takes it out by doing creative things like hacking computers, LARPing, and ARGs. Marcus was caught in a scandal that could have ruined his life for ever. After the homeland of security released him from the holding facility, but no his friends he made it his goal to expose the homeland of security. He spend many days thinking of was to make the life of DHS. he made huge communities that devoted many hours of their life just to show what the DHS was doing.

The book was great, one of the best books i have read. The plot was tremendous and cept me in the book for hours. In the book most of the adults seemed fake, but you can't blame him because most adults don't know how to use a computer or smartphone. This book is getting more realistic as time goes on and more events happen. This book is fast paced at some parts and is slow on others.

I am a person this does not like books that much, but this book got me good. Doctorow is a great writer that uses him past to write the future. You should definitely read at least one of his books in you life.
