"We Were One" by Patrick K.O'Donnell was an amazing book. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to be in the military or is curious about it. This book really shows what it's really like to be a Marine or being away from your family at war. It has the perfect balance of real stories or facts and information about serving in the Marines. The stories in this book are very detailed and exciting and make you feel like you are apart of all the action.

This book shows how the reality of being in combat at war and being away from your family. It really makes you feel like you are going on the missions with Lima company. The people in the stories and in this book are all interesting and make you get lost in your reading. I really got to like certain Marines and was shocked while reading about what they had to go through. I really like how real this book is and has pictures and information most books wouldn't give to their readers.

I liked the book a lot, If you like this kind of stuff the book would be a great read. The stories and information really make you feel like you're part of the book and I recommend this to many people. The details are very frank so some younger readers would have some trouble and maybe shouldn't read this. I really think this book is a good read and is on a good topic and I really suggest it.
