This book review also had a lousy title

By Someone who is not getting credit

I read the book DMZ on the ground. Its about a reporter named Matthew Roth is a photojournalist who in interning at liberty news. He goes into Manhattan to get his story for liberty news and his helicopter gets attacked and he is left alone in a half-destroyed city where there is high level amounts of pollution and unrest among the people. He starts to see how things are really run around this place and starts to wonder if people in here are really crazy like the press portrays them as or if they're just trying to survive.

I thought kept me turning the pages by putting Matt in very bad situations in the story and where he had to choose between going back to the U.S or staying in this messed place up he has no clue about. It is very suspenseful and has occasional sarcastic humor and has characters to give you a sense of what you would do. It has a lot of action and keeps me intrigued enough to actually pay attention to what I'm reading.
I think this is a very good read if you're into gritty, action adventure stories. If you can get passed the vulgar language giving you a sense of the emotion in the room you will have a very fun time reading this book. If you like having suspense in your books and little bit of humor here and there this a perfect read for you.
