Story of Science

By Pedro C.
Joy Hakim is the author for this book, has written ten volumes of a History of US, published by Oxford University Press, and three volumes of The Story of Science, published by Smithsonian Books and National Science Teachers Associations.

The Story of Science is like a collection of all the revolutionary discoveries and how they were found. It  starts of with the tale of a young Einstein and ends with a conclusion that says there is more to come. The middle is all about getting to where we are in terms of technology with the discovery of electricity to Einstein's theory on relativity.
The book is well written and keeps things interesting for a book related to something like science. The author uses a narrative to keep the reader invested that makes it seem like it is written in fiction rather than fact. There are illustrations in the book as well to clarify some of the hard to grasp concepts. This book dives deeply within the depths of science without going into a lot of the math involved so the reader can be anyone who has an interest. The only part that is a little annoying is how short the chapters are so little character development.
I recommend this book to anyone with an interest in science although anyone with no prior knowledge will have a harder time than others with the knowledge. This book can be found online or at any library.
