The book revolves around a boy named Cody. Cody is a freshman in highschool. Cody's parents are not together. Cody's father is a trucker and his mom is a waitress at a new casino in town. Cody gets picked on at school by the bullies all the time he doesn't back down. Cody fights but he doesn't win. Cody lives with his mom. I wouldnt say they are poor but they arent in a good money position. Cody's mom has a brother whom she didnt know she had until a few yers after cody was born.

His name is Uncle John he is in town for an ultimate fighting tournament. He begins to teach cody some

 stuff. John doesn't teach him how to fight but he teaches him the way. Cody still lives in his same old town at  his same house but his attitude is greatly affected by the end of the book. I give the book a seven out of ten.
