This review should have had a clever title

By: Isaiah B.
K is for killer, a book written by Sue Grafton has a mysterious theme to it. It is based off the death of a girl and it can get really scary. This book gives you  a "What's going to happen next" thought in your mind while reading it. It is so interesting because of the spook factor within the novel. K is for Killer is one of Sue Grafton's alphabet series books with twenty-four books in the entire series.

The death of Lorna Kepler was unexpected and horrifying to her family. In K is for killer the daughter of Janice Kepler is murdered. The problem is, no one knows why or by who. The murder is a mystery to all, but to her mother the most. After almost a year the search is suspended but Janice needs to know who killed her daughter. This burning feeling of emptiness in Janice's heart leads her to searching on her own.
The way this book is written is great. Grafton's dark, disturbing tale behind her writing is so intriguing. You never want to put the book down when you are reading. Lorna's mother's drive to solve her murder is what drives this whole book. The idea of Janice potentially putting her own life in danger to solve the murder is so courageous. It gives you such a big reason to like her if you had not already. The book as a whole is really good and written so well.
K is for killer is a really good book and I strongly recommend for anyone to read it. I strongly suggest this read for people interested in mystery books. I really enjoyed reading one of Sue Grafton's novels, and I plan to read more. I advise you try out some of her books too.
K is for Killer can be found in school/public libraries, book stores, and online websites.
