This book review has a lame title

By Molly R.

This true story is about a girl named Mary Rose. She, her mom, and mothers boyfriend all don't get along. One day her mother's boyfriend was throwing a fit and grabbed her mom and started beating her. Mary called the cops and fought back. She left her house that night and went out drinking. She had to change schools and make new friends. She practically lives at the hospital. She has an incurable disease called Cystic Fibrosis (CF for short) Her mother does pot and that is how Mary learned to smoke, making her disease worse by putting smoke in her lungs.

She soon started to have drinking problems and drank her life away getting wasted every night. Soon her disease got so bad that she lost a lot of weight. She went from 107 pounds to 98 in the matter of a day. She could gain 10 pounds in less than a day and lose it the same way.
She has met many boys and has fallen in love with them all. Her best friend Dylan whom she met in a rehab center had strong feelings for her but she did not feel the same way. One day they found him, dead. He had committed suicide with no explanation.
Mary Rose had to use a "High-frequency Chest Wall Oscillation" also known as "The Vest" everyday. Also she had to swallow about 15 pills a day, which she could do in one gulp without any water. She had hip problems causing her to have surgery and be in a wheelchair for sometime. Kids called her a "liar" and a "freak." She turns to drugs and alcohol, the only things that will make her feel somewhat normal. She shoots up Heroin and smokes Cocaine, Marijuana, Meth, anything you could think of possible she has probably done. She drinks beer and can down a bottle of alcohol in no time.
She got arrested all the time, stayed out past curfew and hung out with the wrong crowd. One time she was so hammered someone tampered with her drink and gang raped her with his friends. She was stuck on a mattress and woke up on it the next day. It was in an abandoned house, no one was there, nothing but abandoned everything.
Things kept getting worse for Mary Rose. Her CF was really bad. The doctors said if she kept living the way she was living she was going to die soon instead of live well into her 40's. Her chest started to hurt and she couldn't breathe. The doctors worked with her for a long time. They asked if her lungs still hurt and if she could breathe. She lied and said they felt great. She then died due to complications of Cystic Fibrosis.
