Looking For Alaska Is a book about a guy Miles Halter Who leaves his home in Florida to attend a prep school called Culver Creek for his junior year of high school. After arriving he meets his roommate, Chip "The Colonel" Martin. The Colonel decides to give Miles a nickname and calls him Pudge. Takumi Hikohito and Alaska Young are some of the Colonel's friends.
I think this is a well written book and I love the plot. The fact that miles and Alaska Young are into books and quotes. I like that John Green shows that Alaska is flawed. He puts emphasis on Alaska by titling the book Looking For Alaska. I love the way John green writes about emotions. He understands fear and pain and grief better than most authors.
