Stayed up til 1:30 am just to finish this

By Angelica N.
The Last Song is a story and movie about a seventeen year old girl Ronnie Miller, who is rebellious, and spends the summer with her father, who she hasn't seen since she was young because her parents got a divorce. Ronnie is annoyed and mad at her mother for making her spend the whole summer with her father, in North Carolina. Instead of spending it with her friends and family in New York.

Ronnie hasn't been very respectful towards her mother, and little brother Jonah. She isn't really excited about reconnecting with her father after he walked away from her family. She also has no interest in getting to know a really good looking vollyball player Will Blakelee, who she runs into her first day there.

After Ronnie and Will run into each other, he goes after her and tries to apologise for what happened, but she doesn't accept it instead she walks away. The next  morning Ronnie wakes up and goes to the beach and finds some turtle eggs and sees a racoon eating the turtle eggs so she calls The aquarium. After about 15 mins Ronnie calls, Will shows up and she was annoyed because she told him to stop following her, but then realized he worked at the aquarium. Ronnies summer is about to be full of heart breaks, romantic moments, and a new chance of being a family again.

I love this book, i saw the movie about 20 times, its so good and i fall in love with Ronnie and Will. They go through so much together, especially Ronnie, for someone who is rebellious and disrespectful to someone who is more respectful and responsible. She build a new relationship with her father and found someone she can trust and be herself around. Ronnie also stopped playing piano after her father left, once she met Will she started to play again, she became more happier and caring towards her little brother Jonah, he was kind of worried about her at first. Thinking she was going to make their summer hell. It's a very good book, i recommend it to everyone, and the movie too.
