Angelica's super amazing book reviews

By Angelica N.

Last year in High School, and one suicide makes it a tough senior year. Four bullies, one target. Who's to blame? A girl named Leslie is bullied and abused for years by her classmates. She finally gave up and let them win, and killed herself. Her bullies are now dealing with the consequences of Leslie's suicide. Leslie wasn't well known or anything, she only had one close friend and his name is Jake. Jake will sometimes defend her and will try to cheer her up sometimes.

Jake has strong feelings for Leslie and his twin sister Jillian is one of the four girls who bullied Leslie. Jake was the last person to see her alive, and the last to talk to her. Leslie's parents filed a lawsuit against Leslie's tormentors, the proceedings uncover the systematic cyber bullying and harassment that occurred. Leslie was put through a lot with the abuse and bullying from the girls at school.
When i was reading the book, i was upset because Leslie wouldn't seek help or tell her parents. She was scared of what they might do to her, and Jake was trying to protect her, by telling Jillian to back off and to pass on the message. Once leslie committed suicide, jillian felt really bad and said she didn't have any part of it and blamed it on the other girls.
Mercie is one of the main characters, and the leader of the group who would target Leslie and she would be rude, and bully other people at school. When she found out that leslie had took her own life she really didn't care as much, in fact she was kind of glad she killed herself, but when people starting asking questions, all the friends vowed to keep their stories straight and make Leslie sound fragile.

One thing i liked about this book is that each character would have their own chapter to tell, it was in there point of view and i like that, so that the reader can see what's going on in there mind, and how they tell the story. Overall its a good book, sad, but very good.
