Marilyn Monroe Book Review

By Celina M

I read a non-fictional book about Marilyn Monroe, it was written by Yona Zeldis McDonough. Yona wrote this biography as a regular book instead of having different topics and all the facts under it. She did a really good job in my opinion including what Marilyn had accomplished in her life. She also includes a chronology that has all the important dates of her life at the end of the book. Also she put some of the movies rolls she had done and described it in great detail so you're able to imagine what is happening in her most famous scenes.

Norma Jeane Mortenson (Marilyn Monroe) is a lady that was born in 1926 that made it out of a bad childhood and into fame+glory. She was a very photogenic person in the 20th century and she has over a thousand photos of her. She's famous for her photos and playing blonde rolls in shows and movies. She also is famous to adults for doing 18+ things and being involved in inappropriate photo shoots.
I recommend this book to people who would like to read completely about Marilyn Monroe. Instead of looking for the chapter topic and looking for the fact. She describes in great detail how Marilyn was in this book. But if you're looking for fiction books Yona writes fiction as well some books she's done are "The Barbie Chronicles:"Doll Turns Forty" and " The Four Temperatures".
