The book Dark Dreams is the story of critically acclaimed author Stephen King. The book basically describes the entire life of king from birth to present day. The book talks about family, writing, friends, life challenges and much more. The book emphasis on how many books king has written and how the majority of them are horror or thriller.
I don't have many problems with the book, it was a classic well written biography, I thought there should have been more emphasis on how king got into the writing world and what made him famous. There was great detail about his childhood which was good because it helped to relate because king came from a middle class family. I also liked how king's family was described in detail.
I would recommend anyone who wants to know background info on Stephen king to read this book. The book is informational and is great to learn facts from. The detail is great about nearly every aspect of Stephen King's life.
