A nerd named Arnold Cunningham they call him Arnie finds finds an old red and white 1958 Plymouth Fury. A man sells the car to Arnie for $250
and tells him the car is called Christine.
Arnies friend Dennis sits in the car and has a vision of their surroundings many years before and desides
he doesn't like the car. Arnie fixes the car up and also becomes cynical and humorless yet more confident in himself.Dennis is confused about Arnie and
Christine. As Arnie is restoring the car the car seems to miraculously fix itself. The man who sold Christine to Arnie dies and Dennis meets his younger
brother George. George tells Dennis about his brothers violent history and about his daughters death in the car and his wife commiting suicide in the
car. Arnie gets a girlfriend who believs that the car was trying to kill her while she was in the car, she vows to never go in the car again. A bully
and his buddies wreck Christine so arnie takes her to a spot arnies father pays for for the night. Christine is brand new in the morning. Many car
related deaths start popping up around town starting with the bully and his buddies. The terror doesn't end here read the book for yourself.
