"Virals" is the first book in a series by Kathy Reichs. Kathy Reichs is also the writer of the famous TV show Bones. This book is connected back to Bones in certain ways. It is a book filled with adventure and mystery determined to keep you on your toes.

Tory Brennan is a teenage girl whose mother passed away a year ago. She was immediately sent to a deserted island to live with her father. Her father is a scientist, they live on island with ten other families; for research purposes. Tory is into crime investigation and science just like her father and her great-aunt, Temperance Brennan. Temperance Brennan is a famous forensic anthropologist. There are only three other boys on the island that her age. She forms a close relationship with them, they go on an adventure onto another island, just for fun. The fun ended when they found something you would never believe. Tory is faced with love, friends, mystery, and death.

I loved this book, it was filled with plot twists and jumps. I could not put it down, it was filled with thing a normal teenager deals with as well as thing we could never imagine. There were so many parts throughout the story where I was totally blindsided.

I recommend this book to everyone, it was such a good read I think anyone will find it entertaining and thrilling, and I guarantee you will never see things coming.
