This book review hath not a clever title

By Casey E.
This true story is about a girl named Mary Rose. She, her mom, and mother's boyfriend all don't get along. One day her mother's boyfriend was throwing a fit and grabbed her mom and started beating her. Mary called the cops and fought back. She left her house that night to get drunk. She had to change schools and make new friends. She practically lives at the hospital. She has an incurable disease called Cystic Fibrosis (CF for short) Her mother is making her disease worse, she begins smoking a lot of pot so Mary begins as well however smoke in her lungs is bad for her.She also begins to become an alcoholic Soon her disease got bad and she lost a lot of weight. She would lose 9 pounds gain it and lose it, all in a matter of days. She is playing with fire through this book.  She has even fallen in love with every boy she meets throughout the story. Her best friend Dylan whom she met in a rehab center was there for her for everything. He kills himself with no explanation which leaves Mary lost.

Mary Rose was going through a lot of problems with her disease forcing her to take about 15 pills a day, which she could do in one gulp without any water no problem. She had hip problems in the story causing her to have surgery and be in a wheelchair for sometime. Kids begin to bully her they called her a "liar" and a "freak." She turns to drugs and alcohol, they help her get away they make her feel normal for once. She soon tries Heroin, Cocaine, Marijuana, Meth, anything you could think of possible she has probably done. She drinks beer and can down a bottle of alcohol in no time. She gets arrested all the time, stayed out past curfew and hung out with the wrong crowd she gets herself into trouble she even got raped. Her CF gets so bad it kills her at a young age.
This story is an intense true story. Drugs and alcohol can kill someone even if they don't have a disease. The Author of this story tells the story in a way that makes you want to keep reading. It shows what CF can do to you, it shows what drugs can do to you. Some People's lives aren't perfect. This story can relate to some people's lives and look awful to people who are not going through anything like this. I suggest this book to everyone
