See, when Kristina met crank, she also met her other self, Bree. Crank will be Kristina's downfall as she gets addicted, and ends up smoking and even Shooting it. After she hits the bottom and gets raped, her life seems to be looking up, she has a boyfriend, and is trying to be a better child, but that all falls down. She soon finds out that she's pregnant with the rapist's child.
I loved the way that Ellen Hopkins wrote this with poems, but it still told the story. Every other poem book I read, lost me within the first few pages, book this book kept me hooked.  The characters seemed very real, since you could relate to the struggles of a teenager, but it was a little too fast for me.
This is the third book I've read of Hopkins', and I would definately recommend this book and author to anyone. If you like reading about struggle and the decisions of good and bad, then this book is for you.
