Wizards and Stones

Harry Potter a young boy who has his parents killed by Lord Voldemort has a tough life living as a wizard in a muggle world with his cousin, aunt, and uncle.

Harry Potter who is the most well known wizard has to live with his cousin Dudley, his aunt, and his uncle who are all muggles and don't want people to know Harry is a wizard so they refuse him to practice any form of magic. When a letter comes from the greatest witchcraft and wizardry school of Hogwarts to Harry his uncle Vernon rips it up but letters then come flying in from everywhere the door, the windows, the chimney and the upstairs. They then move far away from that house to a lighthouse of the coast. It was now Harry's birthday when they heard a huge thud on the door when a great big huge man walked in named Hagrid. Hagrid gave Harry a cake for his birthday and finally Harry's letter. They then flew off to Diagon Alley a place where Harry can buy all his stuff.

When Harry is here he buys all of his books, clothes, and his pet owl Hedwig. He then goes to King Cross station and he meets the Weasleys where they teach Harry to go to platform 9 ¾  a place through the wall where the Hogwarts express brings the kids to Hogwarts. When on the train Ron and Harry meet two people Hermione and Draco Malfoy. Hermione turns out to be one their friends and Draco an enemy. When they get there Harry, Hermione, and Ron get sorted into Gryffindor. Harry then discovers his new talent of being the quidditch seeker. Towards the end Harry encounters one of Voldemort's followers and has an epic battle until Harry acquires a stone from Quirrell, Voldemort's follower.

This was also the first time people saw Voldemort ever since he could not kill Harry back in his crib when Voldemort killed his parents this was not because Voldemort was the most evil wizard the world has ever seen.  It was important to get this stone because it had great power and if Voldemort got the stone he would use it to kill every wizard or witch who did not agree with him.   

J.K. Rowling is a very interesting author and her books are great especially her Harry Potter series I will be reading more of them in the future.
