This Book Gives Me A Rash

By: Nolan L.

Rash is a book written by Pete Hautman which is one of the 50 novels he has written. Rash is a novel meant to be read by young adults. It's a story about the future and how everything that is unsafe is illegal. "Bo" the main character has a lot of trouble following the rules in his ultra safe environment.

Bo Marstan grew up in a very safe environment where everything unsafe is illegal like contact sports, unhealthy foods, tattoos and body piercings. Something small like eating french fries can leave you in prison for months or even years. Bo finds himself working in a canadian tundra for being accused of spreading a contagious rash in his school. Bo,like any other inmate seems to be bored and afraid in prison so he ends up joining an extremely illegal football team. Will Bo get his normal life back together?
Pete Hautman's novels are very fun to read and are great for young adults that are in middle school and high school. Rash is a very interesting book and once you start reading the book you will be very interested in reading it and won't want to stop. Rash is very easy to picture in your head as you're reading it so it is easier to understand of what is happening.
Rash is the first book i have read by Pete Hautman and i was happy that i read it because it is one of the best books i have ever read. I hope by reading this book review you will find time to read the book rash.
While you are reading the book Rash i will be reading one of his fifty other books and i will hopefully be reviewing one of his other books in a good way like i did to the book rash.
