This book review has not a clever title

By Evan K.

Have you ever wanted to read the history of every Michael Jackson song?

Then congratulations you have found the book only thought to be of legend, Man in the Music. This book chronicles the entire musical career of the man who gave us hits such as Thriller, Beat It, and Smooth Criminal. It gives in depth detail to the meanings of his songs and why he wrote them giving the reader great and thorough information.

This book gathers information from all over Michael's career. Interviews from people who were once part of his inner circle give their opinions and thoughts. It talks about all the unreleased tracks and songs that never made it out into the world. It talks about what made this moonwalking man tick, what inspired him to go out and perform.

The quality of the pictures and art inside this book is beautiful. All of it fully captures the essence of his music and what it felt like. The book fully details each scene placed within these pictures with explanations and explanations. Why did Michael play there? Why was that his album cover? Why is he wearing that ridiculous outfit in front of thousands of people? The book explains it all.

I was kept enthralled through the entire journey of reading this. I loved how the author didn't focus on the lynching everyone put Michael through. Instead this book focuses on what a star this guy truly was and why he was such a big hit. It explains his mentality towards music and life in general which was very eye opening. I found the detail extraordinary at how each and every song Michael did was given it's own mention and description.

This piece of art is a must have for any Michael Jackson fan without a doubt. The amount of detail in this book completely captures what this man was all about. Music was his passion and he loved doing it his entire life. Hoping to infuse himself with it so that his legacy would never die. Something that every fan of his work deserves to know and will know once they read this piece of history that I recommend.
