This book review lacks a clever title

By Kyle J.

in the book into the wild i found very interesting and very adventurous to read. the book never seemed to not pop out at me and not want to read more. the main character Chris was a very adventurous and odd person . he left his entire life and went on the road to seek out adventure and to look at all the amazing adventures of the world. many people would love to do that but not many have the guts. i strongly recommend to read this book because once you start to read the book you don't want to stop reading the book until you are done. this is a book you want to miss sleep over and will start reading at 5 in the afternoon and lose track of time and look at the clock and its already 3 in the morning .

in the book into the wild Christopher Johnson McCandless his story begins in may of 1990 Chris graduates from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He tells his parents that he is going to spend the summer traveling in his car. Chris then mails his final transcript to college and send his parents a letter explaining they will never hear or see from him again. in the beginning of the book you are confused to as why he is leaving his parents and all his friends and his life behind to live like a homeless person and travel. Chris travels by car until his car floods so he packs his belongings and begins to set out on foot for the first time on his journey in Nevada. one of the people trying to find Chris notices he donated 24,000$ to OXFAM.

during Chris's journey he does everything he hitchhikes and canoes rivers , while canoeing a river a violent storm hit him witch almost drowned him but he survived the violent storm and continues to proceed with his adventure even tho the odds aren't on his side. he ends up in mexico but tries to come back to america and is caught by Mexican patrol and spends one night in jail. in February of 1991 he tries to apply for a job in Los Angeles but gives up on that and goes back to the road and his journey at February of 1991 he notes in his journal he has lost 25 pounds since the beginning of his journey.

Chris started his journey in may of 1990 at his home and ends his journey and  Dies august 18th or 19th 1992 apparently of starvation, in his sleeping bag in the bus along the Sushana River in Alaska. he did this journey by himself with very minimal money and help other then people giving him rides once in awhile while he was hitchhiking on the side of the road this was a very courageous story for a young man to do this adventure by himself and face the wilderness and come this far.
