Hungry for a good book?

In this Science and dystopian fiction, author Suzanne Collins writes about a girl named Katniss Everdeen. In what was once North America, the Capitol of Panem controls 12 districts and forces each to elect a boy and a girl ages twelve to eighteen, chosen at random, to compete in an event broadcasted across the entire country where contestants must fight for their lives in an event called the Hunger Games.

Katniss Everdeen is a talented, well-rounded sixteen year old teen who must fight for her life in honor of District 12 alongside her counterpart tribute, Peeta Mallark. Peeta is also sixteen years old; he must fight alongside the more athletic, and skilled ally, Katniss, but most of all he must consider his survival against love.
The story revolves around the 74th installment of the games. The games took place in a large arena consisting of a large expanse of various terrains. Most of the arena was wooded while also including small brooks and a river along with a large wheat field. In the center of the arena was a large drop-zone with supplies given by the Capitol for the tributes to use to kill each other.
I thought the book was marvelous. It was descriptive and easy to visualize, it had an easy to follow storyline as well as a plot that kept you hooked and captivated you, forcing you to continue reading. The story flowed well; it did not seem choppy, and was transitioned well from fight scenes to love scenes and to calm, relaxed scenes.             Finishing the first installment of the Hunger Games series left me eager to read the next two books in the series and I'm sure it will leave you craving more. I definitely recommend reading the Hunger Games.
