The User Boyfriend

By Aaliyah O.
The Fill-in Boyfriend Boyfriend is an amazing book for teens. Not because many teens can relate to it but because it's about a teen girl going through a confusing break up. Gia is a senior in highschool. When she is in the parking lot about to enter prom her college boyfriend Bradley dumps her. She right away feels embarrassed to first walk into prom alone but to face her mean group of friends with no one by her side. It was hard enough to make her friends believe that she actually had a boyfriend even more a boyfriend in college.

While crying and grieving in the parking lot about her heartbreak she sees a guy sitting in the driver's seat of a truck. She thinks about asking him to go to prom with her as she hesitates she walks over and asks him. After a while of talking he comes back in a suit to see her friends and show him her "bradley" aka {the fill-in boyfriend}. Alot goes on during this time in the book but i wouldn't want to give it away.
I loved how this book was written with a lot of dialogue. It makes you feel like you're part of the book or one of the characters, especially when you're a teen girl reading it. That relates to my other thought. This is more of a girly book. This book is slightly slow only because it's so interesting you want read faster and know more about what happens or if you're just impatient like  me.
I think you should read this book even if you don't relate to it. It's a fun book to read if you like when there's a lot of conversation talking. If you read it enjoy!, cause i know i did.
