The science of mysteries

By: Maxim M.
An old book but has not died is the book of Asimov's Mysteries. It was published in 1968 about 40 years from now.  The book is a collection of fourteen stories that Isaac Asimov wrote between the years of 1954 and 1967 in magazines.Isaac Asimov was born in the soviet union but moved to america to become a professor and a science fiction writer. The stories are all science fiction mystery even though he said that some are borderline.

The fifth story was my favorite because it was like the fairytale of the goose with the golden eggs but with a science twist to it. The plot of the story is how two scientists have a goose that lays golden eggs but will die to heavy metal poisoning. In the story Asimov describes how the problem would be solved if a goose could have golden eggs.
The other stories in the book are all good but have some weird science stuff that I never learned or heard about. This was a real put down because this book took way longer to read than any other books I have read. Due to that problem the book started to get tedious because i was looking up all the terms and trying to make sense of them .
I really loved the parts of the book i could understand. This book was written forty years ago and in very good detail to all of the parts. This book is written in oldish language and had science terms that are hard to get the concept of. Overall I liked the book but it was written for adults. I would recommend this book for the students that are deep into science and love mystery books.
