I Could Read This for All Eternity

By Vishik B
Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code, was a great book. Everything flowed smoothly. The dialogue was great, it was short and to the point. There was more show than tell, which made the book very interesting, and the action and mystery was really good, too.

In the book there were many plots and plans, but instead of telling them, the author waited until whatever the plan was happened, then let us watch it unfold. Also the main character kept getting into a lot of bad situations, like his friend getting shot, which kept everything interesting.
There was a lot of dialogue, but there wasn't too much, and it was not boring. They characters talked about important things that mattered, and also left other things hidden so we could figure it out later. This added to the mystery part of this book, and made it better.
The action was great as it flowed smoothly, and worked well. It made sense, and the good guys were not favored in the action which made it a lot more exciting. There were many characters which made the action more interesting as we watched different events unfold in front of different characters.  The action was one of the best parts of the book.
The main character was what made the book so good. He wasn't perfect, and got into a lot of trouble, but his qualities were interesting. He was rich, smart, and arrogant, though he was a little caring at times. He came up with great plans that led to everything, and without him the book would have been nothing. He was what kept it exciting, and is the main reason why this book was just so good.
Overall, Eoin Colfer wrote an amazing book. I could not find anything wrong as everything works perfectly. The dialogue is great, the action and mystery is exciting, the characters are amazing, and events that happen in the book are intriguing. Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code, is a superb book, and one of my favorites of all time.
