The Dangerous Days Of Daniel X is a science fiction novel written by James Patterson. James Patterson is also the author of the very popular series Maximum Ride and Witch And Wizard.

Daniel X doesn't have a last name. Hence the X after his first name. The reason Daniel is unaware of what his last name is, is because he happens to be an orphan. However, he is not normal. Daniel X is an alien from the planet Alpar Nok(the X in his name stands for "Xtraterrestrial"). Daniel is one of the very few "good aliens" hidden here on Earth. He hunts down and kills as many of the "bad aliens" as he can. He follows a list that includes the name of the alien, where they are suspected of living, and what crimes they have committed. Daniel has been gradually working his way down the list, hopeful to get to Number 1. The Prayer. This alien is the one that murdered his parents and the alien that Daniel despises the most. However, another alien, Ergent Seth, is wreaking havoc on the west coast. Ergent Seth is Number 6 on The List, which is the lowest(and most powerful) alien Daniel has ever gone after. The Dangerous Days Of Daniel X tell of his journey in California as he tries to track down, and defeat Ergent Seth.

I have to say I really enjoyed reading this book. I generally like the sci-fi genre, however, this read also has wit and a fast pace. I read it in a record amount of time because it was irresistibly hard to put down. I honestly don't have any negative comments about it.

If you enjoy sci-fi or are interested in the genre, I highly recommend this book to you. It basically dabbles in every genre, including sci-fi, comedy, drama, and action and adventure. This book can found online at Barnes and Noble, or at the local Nashua Public Library.
