The Girl Who Loved Basketball

By Jacob B,

Miracle on 49th street is a book about a girl who is obsessed with the game of basketball especially josh cameron and the championship boston celtics. Molly parker attends a celtics practice that is open to the public and when she finds out that josh cameron has gift bags for everyone she wants more and goes up to his car to talk to him. She claims her mom knows him but she recently died from cancer and he doesn't believe a word she says. Once she really gets to know him she realizes he isn't  the nice person she thought he really was.

I liked this book but there were some things about it that I think could be better. Like the pace of the book I think the book's plot is to slow and it could be faster there are only a couple parts in the book that made  me want to keep reading it. The characters were  good and I think the author Mike Lupica did a good job writing this book. Some other books he has written are Heat and  Travel team.

I do recommend  this book to other people if you are and fan of sports and if you're not it is still a great book mike Lupica has written some great books which i have read and they were great he has many books  all based on sports.
You can find this book in the nashua high south library.
