The Road Doesn't End Here

By Kara K.

With his foot on his next victim's neck, Dane saw Billy D. for the first time . Then all of  a sudden, Billy D was everywhere he went. Like he was stalking him. Like he was following Dane. Dane gave him mean looks and sometimes called him out. But one: Dane doesn't hit "retards" and two: one more fight and Dane was kicked out of the school forever. The only reason he was still in that high school was because of his phenomenal grades. The new deal with the school is that Dane will watch over Billy D. and keep him safe and do any favors asked. As long as those rules are followed Dane is set for high school.

Dane and Billy D. become unlikely friends. Dane helps Billy learn to fight and are on the search for his dad. Seely, they're new friend, helps along the way. Maybe they won't just find Billy's dad but Dane's too.
This book was amazing. It showed how unalike people can become friends so fast. It is for all readers you and old. For jocks, for geeks, and for parents and children. This is an all around people pleaser and will get you guessing what will happen next! Billy D's happy personality and Dane's stubbornness is a perfect mix.
I would recommend this book to people of all ages. Read all about there not so normal friendship in Erin Jade Lange's "Dead Ends." Erin captures the love and hard times of this friendship and their home lives as well. Also, don't forget to read Erin's other book " Butter."
