A Mice Filled Society (typos and sentence fragments)

By Cameron R.

written by Brian Jacques. This story revolves around two mice, an older one named Brother Abbot, and a y
oung up and coming mouse named Matthias. All seems to be at peace in Redwall, but an evil rat named Cluny and his crew are lurking near the borders of this peaceful Abbey. This first book focuses on how young Matthias rises up to the challenge of keeping Cluny away from Redwall, and keeping the peaceful Redwall society. It also focuses on other types of animals trying to survive Cluny's wrath.

Overall this book is really good. I really liked how the characters were introduced very well. It had a really good exposition, and I liked how everything was surprising when it happened. The only thing I didn't really like was that there wasn't really a lot of suspense, there was a lot of "down-time" in the book, and not enough action. But other than that, it was a very interestinfg book with a lot of twists and turns.

I would recommend this story to anyone interested in acton-packed fantasy. It is a really good book, with a lot of interesting story-lines. Brian Jaques is a very talented writer, and this is definitley one of his best works. It can be found in any library or bookstore.
