This did not have a clever title (Otherwise, nice)

Brian K Vaughan is a little bit dark on this book and I love it. He makes the book dark and that's what bring intensity and plot twists. I seen many demos of his books and that lead me to read Y: The Last Man.

The main character in this book is Yorick and his pet monkey named Ampersand. On Wednesday, July, 17 2002 an unknown plague destroyed every last sperm and every mammal with a Y chromosome that includes animals and men. For some reason Yorick and Ampersand weren't affected by the plague. This plague killed 48 % of the population in the U.S only !! Approximately 2.9 billion men died of this and many of those men were CEOS, Pilots, Mechanics, Electricians and etc.

2 months later Yorick and Ampersand travel by foot to Washington D.C to find his mother, a congressman. When Yorick reunites with his mother she introduces him to 2 women one of them is agent 355 a spy working for the U.S government espionage ring and Dr. Mann a scientist that knows a lot about asexual reproduction. Yorick, Ampersand, and agent 355 leave to find Dr.Mann on Boston ,MA. Meanwhile they are on the road they encounter a group of militia feminist named the Amazons. They don't like the idea that there is men still on the world and want to kill Yorick.

 

Meanwhile the crew is on the road to Dr.Mann, Yorick's mother does some more research about the culper ring and starts to regret letting agent 355 go with Yorick. Therefore she contacts a women named Alter that works for an army on israel and asks if she can track down his son. After that they find the scientist and Ampersand runs off they go find him meanwhile the militia finds the lab and destroys it. Dr.Mann talks Yorick about another lab on San Francisco and they go on a train. Moreover the train gets ambushed by train robbers and Yorick fights them he took a swing and fell of the train.

Later Dr.Mann and agent 355 jump off and Yorick is found unconscious on the ground by a women and the women takes him to her home and heals him. After that Yorick wakes up and finds his sister named Hero and his sister kills the women and Yorrick wants to kill her for what she did. Meanwhile their fight, in space there is 2 other men that weren't affected.

I am new to Brian K. Vaughan writing and I am blown away with this comic book and I

Found out that to this day he is still creating new novels but before I go searching for those novels I am going to finish the rest of this series.
