This book review has a lame title

By: Kara K.
Jessica Verdi writes the fantastic fiction book called What You Left Behind. She writes in the perspective of a young boy who lost his true love to cancer. He found his true love in high school his senior year. Before they started dating, is when Meg found out she had cancer. While she was doing chemo, and while they were dating, Ryden got her pregnant. Meg refused to give up the baby, so she stopped chemo, and gave birth to the beautiful baby named Hope. Still head over heals in love with Meg, Ryden tries to move on with his life and play soccer as the star goalie he used to be. With his college scholarship to UCLA he has to find a way to make everything he cares about fit together. And with the new girl Joni at work his emotions are just as screwed up as his life.

With the help of his mother, Meg's best friend Alan, Meg's sister Mabel, and Ryden's new girlfriend Joni, Ryden's going to get his and Hope's life running smoothly again, well, smoother.
I am in love with this book. The way she laid down the plot was perfect and how she wrote the story, you felt like one of the characters. It felt like i was apart of the book. I couldn't put this book down. Jessica captures the audience like no one else.
This book is perfect for high school girls wanting to read an amazing love story. The twists and turns keep you guessing and wanting more. I'd recommend this book to any high school girl.
Jessica also has other books that  can't wait to check out in the library, like My Life After Now and The Summer I Wasn't Me. This is my first Jessica Verdi book a and now I'm hooked!
