This book review has a lame title

                                        by Alexis F.

Susie Salmon is the main character of this novel. She brings the reader joy, sadness, and even frustration. She talks from point in her heaven, watching life change itself. This book describes as she was brutally murdered and her family struggle to find out what happened, where she is or went. This book shows how hard it can be to move on and how this world is truly confusing and aggravating it is.

Starting from the date it happened, Susie watched as her friends and loved ones struggle to live through her absence. The police and her family try to chase down the person who had murdered her. All without being able to help, without being able to say a word from her place in the sky. While there, she realizes Heaven is a place made to be her dreams and her desires. All except going back to Earth.
Susie watches as her family grows and changes, the police still unable to find anything except for a piece of Susie left behind. Throughout the story nobody forgets who she was. She looks back at her regrets and what she would have done if she knew. She watches her family twist and change then shattered and tried to be put back together. The story leaving the reader heartbroken and slightly pissed, but altogether showing the joy through the little things.
