   runaway storm by D.E. knobbe is an adventure. The protagonist nate is 17 years old he had to deal with his parents getting a divorce. Nate had to move from Canada to New York where his mom took a job along with a new boyfriend. Nate was looking forward to spending time with his dad on a long anticipated kayak trip.

  Nates trip gets unexpectedly blown out of the water. Nate decided to take the trip into his own hands. This book will keep you into it. Nate has to face some of the worst storms mentally and physically. Nate decided to go on the trip by himself and face the Canadian wilderness. He reaches a uninhabited island where a girl named Kat was with fresh water.

  A romance blossom between the two. The two kids see a boat drifting into land and realize it is a marijuana boat. The two kids soon find themselves fighting for their life's.
