'3rd Degree' Amazes

3^rd Degree is a a suspenseful crime fiction book written by James Patterson who has also written the Alex Cross Novels including the #1 New York Times bestsellers The Big Bag Wolf, Four Blind Mice, Violets Are Blue, Kiss the Girls, and Along Came a Spider. Protagonist Lindsay Boxer has to solve a series of murders and catch the group of terrorists menacing her city of San Francisco.

Lieutenant Boxer's life changed one day as she was taking a morning jog down a street when suddenly a house explodes right before her. The Internet millionaire's house was burned to a crisp and a message was left at the scene. The group named “August Spies” took responsibility. Three days later another businessman was murdered and the same message was left. The group was particularly targeting businessmen and the rich who ignored the 1^st world problems occurring in other countries. Famous upper class-men and businessmen were going to gather at a fancy summit called the G-8. August Spies was planning something big at the summit whether it was another bombing or just another cruel slaughtering.

Patterson's writing is absolutely stunning. The descriptions are enough for you to imagine what's happening in the book right before your eyes. With nonstop action along with some romance, Patterson's writing will not disappoint.

This was the first book I've ever read by Patterson and I can tell you I'm gonna read more. Even with his large fan base already, he just gained another follower. You should check out his prodigious writing too.
